Take Hirako

Take Hirako (平子 丈, Hirako Take) is a former First Class Ghoul Investigator before resigning from the CCG. In the past he formed a duo with Kishou Arima. He was in charge of the 21st ward and previously investigated the S-rated ghoul Serpent with his squad, but was later transferred to work alongside Arima again. After the Dragon War, Hirako was asked to be the vice-chancellor of TSC's Peace Officer Academy but refused. He looked after his grandparents until they passed away and lives a normal life in the private sector working in a funeral home.

Kuki Urie

Kuki Urie (瓜江 久生, Urie Kuki) is an Associate Special Class Ghoul Investigator, a Quinx, and the squad leader and mentor of the Quinx Squad, as well as the leader of the S2 Squad.

Shuu Tsukiyama

Shuu Tsukiyama (月山 習, Tsukiyama Shū) was the infamous Gourmet (美食家, Bishokuka) ghoul of the 20th ward. He was a fourth-year student studying Social Welfare at the Department of Human Sciences at Seinan Gakuin University.[2] He comes from the extremely wealthy and influential Tsukiyama family which his father, Mirumo Tsukiyama was the head of. Tsukiyama himself became the head of his family after the Tsukiyama Family Extermination Operation. He was also a member of the Ghoul Restaurant, known as MM until he betrayed them. He joined Kaneki's group with the hidden intention of eating Ken Kaneki, obsessed with his scent and taste but eventually came to genuinely care for Kaneki. Two years later, his severe depression and anorexia after Kaneki's apparent demise left him emaciated and required constant care from his family servants. After finding out Kaneki was alive and meeting him, he recovers, being able to walk and eat on his own as well as take measures to help Kaneki regain his memories.

Kichimura Washuu

Kichimura Washuu (和修 吉福, Washū Kichimura) was the primary antagonist of the Tokyo Ghoul series and the former Bureau Director of the CCG. He was involved in numerous organizations and responsible for several major events of the series. He was originally Souta Washuu-Furuta (和修旧多 宗太, Washū-Furuta Sōta), the illegitimate son of former CCG Chairman Tsuneyoshi Washuu and an agent of V raised in the Sunlit Garden. While working as a Rank 1 Ghoul Investigator, he used the alias of Nimura Furuta (旧多 二福, Furuta Nimura).

Noro

Noro (ノロ, Noro) was a direct subordinate of the One-Eyed King and one of Aogiri Tree's leaders. In the past, he was a ghoul known as Noroi (ノロイ, Noroi) and was entrusted with raising Eto by Yoshimura.

Eto Yoshimura

Eto Yoshimura (芳村 愛支エト, Yoshimura Eto) is the founding leader of Aogiri Tree, having formed the organization in the decade between her original rampage and the beginning of the series. While speculated by many to be the One-Eyed King, she claims that this is not the case. Instead, she is the One-Eyed Owl (隻眼の梟, Sekigan no Fukurō), the half-human and half-ghoul daughter of Yoshimura and Ukina. Her human identity is Sen Takatsuki (高槻 泉, Takatsuki Sen), a best-selling horror novelist mentioned throughout the series.

Arata Kirishima

Arata Kirishima (霧嶋 新, Kirishima Arata) is the husband of Hikari Kirishima. He is also the father of Touka Kirishima and Ayato Kirishima. A group of ghoul investigators named him the Corpse Collector (骸拾い, Mukuro Hiroi). Yukinori Shinohara and Kureo Mado had exposed Arata's identity,[2] and the investigators were subsequently able to catch Arata.

Hideyoshi Nagachika

Hideyoshi Nagachika (永近 英良, Nagachika Hideyoshi), also known as Hide (ヒデ), is a normal human and the best friend of Ken Kaneki. He attended Kamii University as a freshman and, later, sophomore. While there, he was studying Foreign Language Studies — majoring in English[1] — at the Department of International Studies.[4] At a certain point, he started working part-time at the CCG, and soon became an investigation assistant helping both Koutarou Amon and Akira Mado. He disappeared during the Owl Suppression Operation, and later resurfaced under the identity of Scarecrow (スケアクロウ, Sukeakurō). With the disguise of a low-rated Ghoul, he lingered on the fringes of several major operations and meddled without revealing his true nature or goals.

Koutarou Amon

Koutarou Amon (亜門 鋼太朗, Amon Kōtarō) is a former First Class Ghoul Investigator. He was Kureo Mado's last partner and his last partner was Akira Mado. He was subsequently declared dead by the CCG, though his body was never recovered,[6] and was posthumously promoted to Special Class for his distinguished service.[7] During the Rushima Landing Operation, he reappeared alive as an artificial one-eyed ghoul.

Rize Kamishiro

Rize Kamishiro (神代 利世, Kamishiro Rize) was a ghoul and the foster daughter of Matasaka Kamishiro. Born into the Washuu Clan, Rize was the illegitimate daughter of former CCG chairman Tsuneyoshi Washuu, where, as a child, she escaped from her clan and organization V. She was known under her nickname Binge Eater (大喰い Ōkui, "Binge Eater" or "Gluttony", literally "Big Eater"). Due to her eating habits, Rize was a threat to most ghouls in various wards in Tokyo before her death in the Steel Beam Incident where her kakuhou was used in the kakuhou transplant surgery to transform Ken Kaneki into a one-eyed ghoul. Rize later was discovered alive and captured by Dr. Akihiro Kanou where her kakuhou was farmed to transform Kurona and Nashiro Yasuhisa, and Souta Washuu-Furuta into one-eyed ghouls. Eventually, she was used as the host for the body of Dragon (竜, Ryū), indirectly responsible for the ghoulification of Tokyo, before she was finally put out of her misery at the hands of Ken Kaneki.

Hinami Fueguchi

Hinami Fueguchi (笛口 雛実, Fueguchi Hinami) is a ghoul whose parents, Asaki and Ryouko Fueguchi, were killed by ghoul investigators. After the event she began to share strong pseudo-sibling relationships with both Ken Kaneki and Touka Kirishima. The CCG held insufficient information about Hinami, and therefore failed in eliminating her. She was known as subject Number 745 or Daughter in their files. Later, she joined Kaneki's group.

Yukinori Shinohara

Yukinori Shinohara (篠原 幸紀, Shinohara Yukinori) is a Special Class Ghoul Investigator and an Investigation Commander in Division I. He was assigned to the 20th ward and responsible for the investigation of the Binge Eater. In the past, he acted as Koutarou Amon's instructor at the CCG Academy.[4] His last partner was Juuzou Suzuya. He was Kureo Mado's first partner.

Juuzou Suzuya

Juuzou Suzuya (鈴屋 什造, Suzuya Jūzō) is a Special Class Ghoul Investigator. In the past, he went by the name Rei Suzuya (鈴屋 玲, Suzuya Rei). He was first partnered with Yukinori Shinohara, and is now currently the leader of Suzuya Squad. He was first assigned to the 20th ward and was responsible for the investigation of the Binge Eater. Later, he was assigned to the 13th ward and was investigating the ghoul Nutcracker, along with his squad

Seidou Takizawa

Seidou Takizawa (滝澤 政道,bobo jiggle) is a former Rank 2 Ghoul Investigator. A classmate of Akira Mado at the Academy, he was partnered with Kousuke Houji and assigned to the 20th ward to investigate the Gourmet. Though a great admirer of outstanding investigators such as Koutarou Amon and Kishou Arima, he also suffers from a major inferiority complex that brought him into conflict with his peers. At the end of the Owl Suppression Operation, he faced Tatara together with Koutarou Amon and was subsequently reported dead by the CCG.

Renji Yomo

Renji Yomo (四方 蓮示, Yomo Renji) is Yoshimura's right hand. He is an old friend of Uta and Itori. Due to his feeding habits and his avian-shaped mask, he has earned the nickname Raven (カ ラ ス, Karasu).

Kureo Mado

Kureo Mado (真戸 呉緒, Mado Kureo) was a First Class Ghoul Investigator and Koutarou Amon's former partner and mentor. He was a quinque fanatic. Among others, he killed the ghouls Applehead and Ryouko Fueguchi. He was killed while tracking down the Daughter ghoul and Rabbit.

Nishiki Nishio

Nishiki Nishio (西尾 錦, Nishio Nishiki) is a ghoul whose original feeding ground was taken by Rize Kamishiro. He was a second-year student in the Pharmaceutical Department of Kamii University and the boyfriend of Kimi Nishino who was heavily wounded in a fight with Ken Kaneki, but he eventually became a waiter at Anteiku and ally to Kaneki.

Yakumo Oomori

Yakumo Oomori (大守 八雲, Ōmori Yakumo) was an executive of Aogiri Tree and the founding leader of the White Suits from the 13th ward. Typically, he was called by his alias Yamori (ヤモリ, lit. "Gecko"). Due to his brutality, he also became known as 13th Ward's Jason (第13病棟のジェイソン, Dai 13 Byōtō no Jeison).

Kishou Arima

Kishou Arima (有馬 貴将, Arima Kishō) was a Special Class Ghoul Investigator famously known as the CCG's Reaper (CCGの死神, Shīshījī no Shinigami). He was a prominent figure within the organization and was widely regarded as a genius. In the prequel spin-off Tokyo Ghoul: Jack, he is featured alongside Taishi Fura as a teen. He garnered an impressive list of achievements during his eighteen years as an investigator, from leading the prestigious S3 Squad to single-handedly turning the tides of large operations. His lethal battle prowess earned him many names, including the White Reaper (白い死神, Shiroi Shinigami), among others.

Touka Kirishima

Touka Kirishima (霧嶋 董香 Kirishima Touka) is a ghoul who is an ex-waitress at Anteiku. She is the daughter of Arata Kirishima and Hikari Kirishima, the older sister of Ayato Kirishima, the wife of Ken Kaneki and the mother of Ichika Kaneki. Touka wears a rabbit mask while hunting, earning her the alias Rabbit (ラビット, Rabitto). In Tokyo Ghoul, she was a second-year student at Kiyomi High School and later a third-year after the post-Aogiri timeskip.

Ken Kaneki

Ken Kaneki (金カネ木キ 研ケン, Kaneki Ken) is the main protagonist of the Tokyo Ghoul series. He is currently Touka Kirishima's husband, and the father of Ichika Kaneki. Previously, he was a student who studied Japanese literature at Kamii University, living a relatively normal life. However, this quickly changed after Rize Kamishiro's kakuhou was transplanted into him and transformed him into a one-eyed ghoul. Kaneki is the first known artificial one-eyed ghoul. His unique half ghoul state is what later inspires the idea of the Quinx. After joining Anteiku as a part-time waiter, he learns how to live as a ghoul and eventually becomes known as Eyepatch (眼帯, Gantai).
